Happy Easter

We hosted Easter at our place yesterday. Our friends Ryan & Sarah and Matt came over to help celebrate. Joylynn made a ham with sides of mashpotatos and corn! hooray. After dinner we tukished - a game of skill done by tapping hard boiled eggs together until one of them breaks which isnt that long.

happy easter everyone.

We're still around

Here is a brief summary of things that have happened since last posting in NOVEMBER! Sheesh...

1. December:

A) went up and down the east coast spending time with friends and family (Christene, Mr. & Mrs. Henning, The Jones Family, Mike & Rachele Sleep, Nick & Hannah Dean, Kelly McSween). This trip was a real blessing in more ways than one. We planned on spending the night in NYC but got caught in a snow storm in Connecticut. The snow was awfal so we stayed the night at a hotel.

B) One week later we headed back up to Michigan for the Christmas holiday. A quality time with more friends and more family. It was one year ago that Joylynn said yes when I asked her to marry me.

2. January:
Back to work back to school. I started my internship in acute care at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. While Joylynn kept working at Guilford College.

3. February : what happened in February? hummm.... Well it was a leap year of course and that was special, I played a concert that day. And we kept grinding on enjoying the company of our friends.

4. March: MARCH 9, 2008! Joylynn's Birthday... We went to this great Asian restaurant called Phoenix. We ran into our old friends Stacey and Hannah.

Which brings us to today!

Today (what a fine day) We took it easy. I played basketball with my friend Matt and Joylynn did a little shoppint. We at sushi for dinner followed by a stop at a coffee shop (hooray for gift cards)

This afternoon we also watched an interesting movie called Paris Je t'aime. It is a fun little movie made up of 16 seperate little stories about relationships in paris. My favorite is the story of the kid who's parents were both Mimes. I won't say any more. .... be warned, there were some less appropriate parts you will need to skip, but all in all, it is interesting.

Hope all is well with you.

Sincerely,
Thor with Joylynn
